This play is about people trying to break free because they want to dream and live their lives. They live under an oppressive totalitarian system. The oppressors in the play seem to have lost themselves. They have forgotten about all their hopes and dreams and the happiness in their lives. It is a story about learning the difference between control and fairness. It’s OK to work hard but to dictate is wrong and unnecessarily cruel.
