Under the Stars set to benefit from summer Bananarama Gig

Banarama set to perform at Music in the Gardens

It looks set to be no 'Cruel Summer' for Under the Stars. We are delighted to announce that we have been chosen to be one of the charities that benefits from funds raised at Music in the Gardens.

For many years, the Rotary Clubs in Sheffield and Rotherham have combined to organise this 3 day popular music festival to raise money for local charities in the Sheffield Botanical Gardens. People of Sheffield flock to the beautiful gardens to enjoy a civilised garden party atmosphere full of fizz, fun and fine music.

This year Bananarama’s Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward will perform to celebrate the group’s 36th anniversary for us on Friday 5th July. Bananarama were the undisputed female legends of the 80s following two Band Aid appearances, an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most successful female band worldwide, a US No.1, 32 Top 40 Hits, 10 albums and 30 million records sold.

We are already dusting off the hair crimpers and black ankle socks in anticipation of this exciting evening.

If you would like to support Under the Stars whilst enjoying a fabulous night of entertainment, tickets are available now on the Sheffield International Venues website http://bit.ly/2DO5bOV
